Lors de son discours face \u00e0 la Nation, le pr\u00e9sident Macky Sall a annonc\u00e9 qu\u2019il ne se pr\u00e9sentera pas \u00e0 la prochaine \u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle, pr\u00e9cisant tout de m\u00eame que la Constitution le lui permettait. Une d\u00e9cision qui fait plusieurs heureux au sein de l\u2019opposition, qui avait fait de ce possible 3e mandat une de leurs batailles majeures.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cependant, cette d\u00e9cision laisse d\u2019autres comme de grands perdants. C\u2019est le cas des nombreux leaders de la coalition Benno Bokk Yakaar (BBY), oblig\u00e9s d\u2019\u00eatre dans l\u2019ombre de Macky Sall et de \u00ab sa d\u00e9cision \u00bb, alors que certains auraient certainement d\u00fb \u00eatre pistonn\u00e9s pour mieux se positionner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Une pr\u00e9sidentielle, \u00e7a ne se pr\u00e9pare pas en un an\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Cette assertion, nous l\u2019avons souvent entendu. Aujourd\u2019hui, elle va r\u00e9sonner dans la t\u00eate de certains cadres de l\u2019Apr et de BBY. En effet, \u00e0 seulement 6 mois de la Pr\u00e9sidentielle, il sera difficile, voire impossible, pour un cadre de BBY de se rendre pr\u00e9sidentiable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depuis sa nomination en 2019, Macky Sall aurait d\u00fb y penser et pr\u00e9parer sa succession chez ses hommes. Mais le pr\u00e9sident Sall a fait le contraire de ce qu\u2019il aurait d\u00fb faire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sa premi\u00e8re d\u00e9cision, suite \u00e0 son \u00e9lection en 2019, a \u00e9t\u00e9 de supprimer le poste de Premier ministre, poste naturel de Num\u00e9ro 2 du gouvernement. Les autres ministres qui prenaient du galon, (Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, Mimi Tour\u00e9, Amadou Ba\u2026) ont tous ensuite saut\u00e9, lors d\u2019un remaniement. Ce qui, naturellement, \u00e0 faire croire \u00e0 une tentative du pr\u00e9sident de se rendre indispensable et de briguer un troisi\u00e8me mandat. Mais pendant tout ce temps, ce qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 le plus utile pour ses hommes, est de  partager le pouvoir et de les rendre de plus en plus cr\u00e9dibles aux yeux des S\u00e9n\u00e9galais. Et sa d\u00e9cision tardive d\u2019annoncer qu\u2019il ne sera pas candidat ne va pas les aider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, Benno Bokk Yakaar n\u2019aura que quelques mois pour pistonner un candidat capable d\u2019aller batailler avec l\u2019opposition s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise qui, elle, a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer ces \u00e9lections depuis au moins 3 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pire encore, la majorit\u00e9 des membres de BBY avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 annonc\u00e9 que Macky Sall sera son candidat \u00e0 la Pr\u00e9sidentielle. En choisir un apr\u00e8s cette d\u00e9cision du chef de l\u2019Etat ressemblera \u00e0 un choix par d\u00e9faut, \u00e0 d\u00e9faut d\u2019avoir mieux. Un message qui pourrait \u00eatre d\u00e9savantageux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A l\u2019inverse, si le pr\u00e9sident avait tout calcul\u00e9, Benno aurait d\u00e9j\u00e0 eu 2 ou 3 figures majeures capables de rivaliser avec Macky Sall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce qui fait de Benno Bokk Yakaar le plus grand perdant de cette d\u00e9cision de Macky Sall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
