Le Kenya est un exemple dans la lutte contre la maladie sur le continent. Un tour dans des h\u00f4pitaux au Gabon et au Ghana pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement le m\u00eame sentiment d\u2019espoir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notons qu\u2019\u00e0 l’occasion de la journ\u00e9e mondiale contre le paludisme, les confr\u00e8res de France 24 a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un reportage au Kenya. Dans le pays, 3,5 millions de personnes contractent la maladie chaque ann\u00e9e et pr\u00e8s de 11.000 personnes en meurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais au Kenya, le taux de pr\u00e9valence est en constante diminution gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l’utilisation depuis 2019 d’un vaccin antipaludique. L’annonce par l’OMS d’un nouveau vaccin bient\u00f4t accessible \u00e0 tous suscite de nombreux espoirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
