{"id":28646,"date":"2026-02-26T16:51:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T16:51:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/macite.tg\/?p=28646"},"modified":"2026-02-26T16:51:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T16:51:16","slug":"delimitation-de-la-frontiere-maritime-togo-ghana-la-position-officielle-de-lome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/macite.tg\/?p=28646","title":{"rendered":"DELIMITATION DE LA FRONTIERE MARITIME TOGO-GHANA\u00a0: La position officielle de Lom\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Le Gouvernement de la R\u00e9publique togolaise a re\u00e7u, le 20 f\u00e9vrier 2026, des autorit\u00e9s de la R\u00e9publique du Ghana, une notification relative \u00e0 leur d\u00e9cision d&rsquo;engager une proc\u00e9dure d&rsquo;arbitrage international concernant la d\u00e9limitation de la fronti\u00e8re maritime entre les deux \u00c9tats sur le fondement de la Convention des Nations Unies sur le droit de la mer (CNUDM) du 10 d\u00e9cembre 1982.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>En effet, entre novembre 2016 et mai 2018, plusieurs incidents maritimes sont survenus dans l&rsquo;espace maritime non d\u00e9limit\u00e9 entre les deux \u00c9tats mettant en exergue la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de d\u00e9limiter une fronti\u00e8re maritime commune.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>D\u00e8s lors, \u00e0 partir de juin 2018, les deux \u00c9tats, \u00e0 travers la Commission Nationale des Fronti\u00e8res Maritimes du Togo (CNFMT) et la Ghana Boundary Commission, ont engag\u00e9 des n\u00e9gociations en vue d&rsquo;une d\u00e9limitation consensuelle et ce, conform\u00e9ment aux principes consacr\u00e9s par la Convention des Nations Unies sur le Droit de la Mer (CNUDM).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/CODE-VESTI2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28645\" srcset=\"https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/CODE-VESTI2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/CODE-VESTI2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/CODE-VESTI2-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dans ce contexte, les deux parties s&rsquo;\u00e9taient engag\u00e9es, lors de la cinqui\u00e8me r\u00e9union pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re tenue du 22 au 23 ao\u00fbt 2019 \u00e0 Accra, \u00e0 s&rsquo;abstenir de toute action en mer susceptible de porter atteinte au climat de fraternit\u00e9, de paix et de s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9 entre les deux \u00c9tats.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>La R\u00e9publique du Ghana, par sa d\u00e9cision de soumettre \u00e0 l&rsquo;arbitrage international le diff\u00e9rend relatif \u00e0 la d\u00e9limitation de la fronti\u00e8re maritime commune, marque sa volont\u00e9 de sortir du cadre des n\u00e9gociations bilat\u00e9rales en cours.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Le Gouvernement togolais prend acte de cette d\u00e9cision. Il r\u00e9affirme son attachement aux principes de r\u00e8glement pacifique des diff\u00e9rends, au bon voisinage et \u00e0 la coop\u00e9ration fraternelle entre \u00c9tats, conform\u00e9ment au droit international et aux instruments juridiques auxquels les deux \u00c9tats sont parties.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
