Depuis le samedi 21 septembre dernier, c\u2019est une femme qui a officiellement pris les r\u00eanes de la pr\u00e9sidence de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Kara, \u00e0 l’issue d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie solennelle de passation des charges. Madame le Professeur Pr\u00e9nam Houzou-Mouzou remplace \u00e0 ce poste le Professeur Kokou Tchari\u00e8.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment doyenne de la Facult\u00e9 des sciences de la sant\u00e9 (FSS), Pr\u00e9nam Houzou- Mouzou devient la premi\u00e8re femme pr\u00e9sidente d\u2019une universit\u00e9 publique au Togo. Professeur Titulaire en Rhumatologie et Lieutenant-Colonel des Forces arm\u00e9es togolaises (FAT), elle incarne l\u2019excellence acad\u00e9mique, le leadership institutionnel et l\u2019engagement au service de la sant\u00e9, de la recherche et de la formation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus qu\u2019une simple nomination, il s\u2019agit l\u00e0 d\u2019une reconnaissance pour une femme au parcours d\u2019exception. Titulaire de dipl\u00f4mes des universit\u00e9s de Lom\u00e9 (Togo), Abidjan (C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire) et de Lille (France), cette teigneuse dirige, depuis 2012, le service de rhumatologie du CHU-Kara, premier service sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 d\u00e9centralis\u00e9 hors de Lom\u00e9, apr\u00e8s avoir fait ses preuves dans les h\u00f4pitaux du Togo.<\/p>\n\n\n

Quelques exemples t\u00e9moignent qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019une belle r\u00e9compense pour son exceptionnel parcours militaire et acad\u00e9mique. Premi\u00e8re Femme militaire interne des h\u00f4pitaux, premi\u00e8re Femme militaire Professeure d\u2019Universit\u00e9, premi\u00e8re Femme Doyenne de facult\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Kara, Professeur Pr\u00e9nam Houzou-Mouzou, la quarantaine d\u00e9pass\u00e9e, est d\u00e9sormais la premi\u00e8re Femme Pr\u00e9sidente d\u2019Universit\u00e9 au Togo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
