L\u2019Alg\u00e9rie continue de se distinguer\u2026 mais toujours dans le mauvais sens. Le journaliste franco-alg\u00e9rien Mohamed Sifaoui r\u00e9sume la situation avec une ironie mordante :\u00a0\u00ab le comportement de ceux qui l\u2019incarnent fait appara\u00eetre une extraordinaire immaturit\u00e9. Or, depuis plusieurs jours, les m\u00e9dias \u00e0 la solde du r\u00e9gime alg\u00e9rien rivalisent d\u2019ing\u00e9niosit\u00e9 pour taire ce qui saute aux yeux : la rencontre se d\u00e9roule au Maroc. Les bulletins t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9s s\u2019embarrassent de formules vides : \u00ab l\u2019\u00e9quipe nationale s\u2019est envol\u00e9e \u00bb, \u00ab l\u2019\u00e9quipe nationale est arriv\u00e9e \u00bb,<\/em> sans jamais pr\u00e9ciser ni le lieu ni l\u2019h\u00f4te. Une omission volontaire qui illustre \u00e0 la perfection l\u2019obsession anti-marocaine et la censure maladive qui caract\u00e9risent la communication officielle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pendant ce temps, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est tout autre. Comme le rappelle Sifaoui, les autorit\u00e9s marocaines ont r\u00e9serv\u00e9 un accueil \u00ab tr\u00e8s chaleureux \u00bb<\/em> \u00e0 la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation alg\u00e9rienne, tandis que la population locale saluait la pr\u00e9sence de l\u2019\u00e9quipe et lui souhaitait du succ\u00e8s face \u00e0 la Guin\u00e9e. Ce contraste est d\u2019autant plus frappant que les m\u00e9dias alg\u00e9riens s\u2019acharnent, d\u00e8s qu\u2019ils le peuvent, \u00e0 tacler le Maroc \u00e0 coups de mensonges et d\u2019intox, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rant fabriquer de faux scandales plut\u00f4t que de relater des faits tangibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet acharnement m\u00e9diatique traduit une ligne de conduite absurde : effacer le Maroc de l\u2019actualit\u00e9, quitte \u00e0 sombrer dans le ridicule. Sifaoui insiste sur le manque d\u2019intelligence politique du r\u00e9gime : \u00ab intelligence malheureusement ne rime pas avec r\u00e9gime alg\u00e9rien, surtout sous Tebboune \u00bb.<\/em> Il rappelle une r\u00e8gle \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire des relations internationales : la ZOPA, ou Zone of Possible Agreement, qui permet de maintenir des rapports minimaux mais normaux avec ses voisins. En s\u2019ent\u00eatant \u00e0 nier l\u2019\u00e9vidence, le r\u00e9gime alg\u00e9rien pi\u00e9tine cette logique de bon sens et s\u2019enferme dans une impasse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le ridicule est ainsi institutionnalis\u00e9. Le pouvoir alg\u00e9rien choisit d\u2019exploiter toutes les occasions pour salir l\u2019image du Maroc, mais se retrouve pi\u00e9g\u00e9 par ses propres contradictions d\u00e8s qu\u2019une situation concr\u00e8te l\u2019oblige \u00e0 cohabiter avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Cette fois, c\u2019est le football qui a mis \u00e0 nu l\u2019infantilisme d\u2019un r\u00e9gime obs\u00e9d\u00e9 par l\u2019effacement symbolique du voisin, incapable de d\u00e9passer ses rancunes et ses obsessions.<\/p>\n\n\n

Entre intox r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es, manipulation m\u00e9diatique et refus d\u2019admettre le r\u00e9el, Alger offre au monde le spectacle d\u2019une r\u00e9gression politique inqui\u00e9tante, o\u00f9 la haine du Maroc sert de cache-mis\u00e8re aux v\u00e9ritables probl\u00e8mes du pays. Plus que jamais, comme l\u2019\u00e9crit Sifaoui, \u00ab l\u2019enfantillage des dirigeants alg\u00e9riens est path\u00e9tique \u00bb.<\/em> Et tant que cette immaturit\u00e9 guidera la ligne officielle, le r\u00e9gime continuera \u00e0 se ridiculiser de plus en plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
