Dans le cadre du programme de participation 2024-2025 de l\u2019UNESCO, qui a pour objectif de susciter l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat des jeunes filles pour les fili\u00e8res scientifiques et technologiques (STEM), la Commission nationale togolaise pour l\u2019UNESCO a organis\u00e9, du 03 au 10 ao\u00fbt 2025 \u00e0 l\u2019OCDI Kpalim\u00e9, la 7\u00e8me<\/sup> \u00e9dition du Camp des sciences pour les jeunes filles scolaires.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plac\u00e9 sous le parrainage des minist\u00e8res des enseignements, le Camp des sciences constitue une plateforme d\u2019\u00e9veil des vocations, de renforcement de la confiance en soi, et de promotion des carri\u00e8res scientifiques chez les jeunes filles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce programme biennal initi\u00e9 depuis 2011, se veut de contribuer aux efforts conjoints de l\u2019ex\u00e9cutif togolais et de l\u2019UNESCO, en faveur de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des genres et du d\u00e9veloppement durable. Il offre la fine fleur de la gent f\u00e9minine togolaise, un cadre stimulant de d\u00e9couverte, d\u2019apprentissage et de partage. Une mani\u00e8re assez os\u00e9e, mais pragmatique, d\u2019orienter la jeunesse vers les m\u00e9tiers porteurs d\u2019avenir.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pour cette 7\u00e8me<\/sup> \u00e9dition, elles \u00e9taient au total 42 meilleures \u00e9l\u00e8ves filles issues des sept r\u00e9gions p\u00e9dagogiques du Togo, ayant brillamment r\u00e9ussi aux examens du BEPC, BAC 1 et BAC 2, dans les s\u00e9ries C, D, E, F1, F2, F3, F4 et Ti, \u00e0 se retrouver pour cette nouvelle aventure qui a dur\u00e9e une semaine (du 03 au 10 ao\u00fbt 2025 \u00e0 l\u2019OCDI Kpalim\u00e9). Elles sont appuy\u00e9es par huit de leurs a\u00een\u00e9es, des \u00e9tudiantes en fin de cycle, inscrites dans des fili\u00e8res scientifiques et technologiques au sein des universit\u00e9s du Togo et de la sous-r\u00e9gion. Ces derni\u00e8res ont enrichi les \u00e9changes par le partage leurs exp\u00e9riences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au menu du s\u00e9jour de ces jeunes filles, un programme riche et vari\u00e9, incluant notamment des visites dans des institutions scientifiques et technologiques, des travaux pratiques en laboratoire mobile, des initiations \u00e0 l\u2019informatique et \u00e0 la recherche en ligne, mais aussi des \u00e9changes interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnels sur des th\u00e9matiques d\u2019actualit\u00e9 telles que la pr\u00e9vention des grossesses pr\u00e9coces et des violences en milieu scolaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les participantes \u00e0 ce Camp ont \u00e9galement \u00e0 une conf\u00e9rence sur les perspectives de carri\u00e8res scientifiques, \u00e0 une visite \u00e9cotouristique, \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s culturelles et sportives visant \u00e0 renforcer la coh\u00e9sion et l\u2019estime de soi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faut-il le rappeler, \u00e9duquer une femme, c\u2019est investir dans l\u2019avenir de la nation. L\u2019\u00e9ducation de la femme est essentielle pour le d\u00e9veloppement social et \u00e9conomique. Elle a un impact certain sur la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 dans sa globalit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon la Banque mondiale, chaque ann\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9ducation secondaire pour une jeune fille, peut augmenter son potentiel de gain \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte de 18%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
