Dans sa lettre, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Adam Idriss Deby s\u2019insurge contre son fr\u00e8re. Il dit avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 abandonn\u00e9 et d\u00e9crit une d\u00e9cennie d\u2019exil, de solitude et de trahison. Il va \u00e9galement s\u2019insurger contre la gouvernance de Mahamat Idriss Deby en le citant nomm\u00e9ment. \u00ab Et c\u2019est bien de Mahamat Idriss Deby que je m\u2019exprime ici. C\u2019\u00e9tait d\u2019abord la machine \u00e0 espoir, et quel espoir ? L\u2019espoir de ne pas sombrer dans le chaos.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahamat est devenu le chaos ! Et quel chaos ? Le chaos de la peur permanente et de la force pr\u00eate \u00e0 frapper quiconque ose contester la moindre part de son autorit\u00e9. La ruine du peu d\u2019institutions que nous avons et de l\u2019\u00e9conomie naissante d\u2019un peuple saignant de la guerre perp\u00e9tuelle.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n

Il accuse son fr\u00e8re d\u2019avoir plong\u00e9 le Tchad dans le chaos. \u00ab Mahamat est devenu le chaos ! Et quel chaos ? Le chaos de la peur permanente et de la force pr\u00eate \u00e0 frapper quiconque ose contester.<\/em> \u00bb Adam Idriss Deby invite son fr\u00e8re cadet \u00e0 d\u00e9missionner. Il estime que ce dernier a \u00e9chou\u00e9 \u00e0 ramener la paix et la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 promises au peuple tchadien. Il d\u00e9nonce \u00e9galement une gestion autoritaire et une manipulation des institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9 en cinq points, Mahamat Idriss D\u00e9by riposte.  Il rejette les accusations de son fr\u00e8re, qu\u2019il qualifie de \u00ab haineuses et jalouses \u00bb.<\/em> Le pr\u00e9sident tchadien rappelle le contexte familial et professionnel, soulignant que l\u2019exil d\u2019Adam d\u00e9coule de son refus d\u2019accepter une nomination au sein de la DGSSIE, sous le commandement de son fr\u00e8re cadet. \u00ab Le d\u00e9funt Mar\u00e9chal du Tchad Idriss Deby Itno, notre p\u00e8re, (paix \u00e0 son \u00e2me) m\u2019avait nomm\u00e9 directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la DGSSIE, le 20 septembre 2014, alors que le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Adam Idriss Deby, plus \u00e2g\u00e9 que moi, \u00e9tait CEM au sein de cette m\u00eame grande formation mise sous ma direction.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deuxi\u00e8mement : Il avait abandonn\u00e9 son poste au sein de la DGSSIE en contestation \u00e0 cette nomination. Il s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 par la suite que cette nomination \u00e9tait une des raisons principales de son d\u00e9part en exil. Il n\u2019a donc jamais accept\u00e9 qu\u2019il soit mis sous le commandement d\u2019un fr\u00e8re cadet, en raison de son \u00e9go surdimensionn\u00e9. <\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n

Mahamat Idriss D\u00e9by accuse \u00e9galement Adam de transformer des frustrations personnelles en revendications publiques : \u00ab Sa vaine tentative de faire passer ses rancunes pour des causes du peuple n\u2019est qu\u2019une diversion. \u00bb<\/em> Il met \u00e9galement en doute les m\u00e9rites militaires de son fr\u00e8re, remettant en question ses contributions au pays et sa l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 en tant que g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
