Plac\u00e9e sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab Je suis diff\u00e9rent, j\u2019ai besoin de vous pour m\u2019\u00e9clore. Je dis non \u00e0 l\u2019exclusion \u00bb, cette rencontre visait \u00e0 informer le grand public sur l\u2019autisme et \u00e0 lutter contre les stigmates qui l\u2019entourent.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En effet, l\u2019autisme, un trouble du d\u00e9veloppement neurologique, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par une alt\u00e9ration des interactions sociales, de la communication et du comportement, affecte des millions de personnes \u00e0 travers le monde, y compris au Togo o\u00f9 la pr\u00e9valence est estim\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 200.000 individus sur une population avoisinant les neuf (09) millions. Pourtant, l\u2019ignorance et les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s continuent \u00e0 entourer cette condition. L\u2019association Autisme Togo Merveille et Myst\u00e8re (Atmm) se mobilise pour changer les perceptions et offrir un soutien indispensable aux enfants et aux familles touch\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"712\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG-20240408-WA0107-712x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13788\" srcset=\"https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG-20240408-WA0107-712x1024.jpg 712w, https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG-20240408-WA0107-209x300.jpg 209w, https:\/\/macite.tg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG-20240408-WA0107.jpg 718w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 712px) 100vw, 712px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour Akou\u00e9l\u00e9 Kou\u00e9vi, pr\u00e9sidente de l\u2019association Atmm, il faut briser le silence et lutter contre l\u2019exclusion sociale des enfants autistes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab Avoir un enfant autiste n\u2019est pas une fatalit\u00e9. Il faut les faire sortir, car ils ont les m\u00eames droits que tous les enfants \u00bb,<\/em> a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019association Atmm s\u2019engage \u00e0 d\u00e9mystifier l\u2019autisme et \u00e0 accompagner les parents dans l\u2019\u00e9ducation de leurs enfants. Elle \u00e9labore des programmes, des projets et des plaidoyers pour sensibiliser la population et combattre les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il faut surtout noter que l\u2019autisme \u2018<em>\u2019n\u2019est pas une maladie\u2019\u2019<\/em> qui se traite comme d\u2019autres pathologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab L\u2019autisme, c\u2019est un trouble neuro-d\u00e9veloppemental, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire que le cerveau chez le f\u0153tus ne s\u2019est pas bien form\u00e9, et comme le cerveau a \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9 autrement, \u00e7a va donner des signes \u00e0 partir de 2 ou 3 ans chez l\u2019enfant. C\u2019est un trouble du d\u00e9veloppement caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par un d\u00e9veloppement anormal ou d\u00e9ficient. Il faut bien pr\u00e9ciser que l\u2019autisme n\u2019est pas une maladie.
