Le Conseil des ministres d\u2019hier mercredi au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, a pris une r\u00e9sonance particuli\u00e8re, \u00e0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 le quinquennat traverse sa premi\u00e8re zone de turbulence.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors du Conseil des ministres d\u2019hier mercredi d\u2019hier, le pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique en a profit\u00e9 pour recadrer le Conseil constitutionnel. La r\u00e9union hebdomadaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 assez tendue. Et Macky Sall a \u00e9t\u00e9 assez \u00a0franc et direct avec les 7 Sages, assure un membre du gouvernement qui r\u00e9v\u00e8le une conversation tendue et fleurie.<\/p>\n\n\n

Selon les informations de l\u2019Obs, Macky Sall n\u2019entend pas se plier \u00e0 une \u00e9ventuelle injonction du Conseil constitutionnel lui imposant une date pour la tenue de la Pr\u00e9sidentielle de 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Si les 7 Sages lui imposent une date, il ne peut prendre un d\u00e9cret pour convoquer le coll\u00e8ge \u00e9lectoral. Parce que rien ne l\u2019y oblige. Cette position affich\u00e9e par le chef de l\u2019Etat se justifie par la saisine des candidats \u00e0 la Pr\u00e9sidentielle regroup\u00e9s autour du FC25 demandant au Conseil constitutionnel de prendre ses responsabilit\u00e9s \u00bb,<\/em> informe le journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macky Sall n\u2019a pas manqu\u00e9 de relever que les pr\u00e9rogatives \u00e9lectorales pr\u00eat\u00e9es au Conseil constitutionnel ne sont inscrites nulle part. Il a rappel\u00e9 que la mission des 7 Sages se limite \u00e0 valider les candidatures, vider les contentieux li\u00e9s au scrutin et publier les r\u00e9sultats des \u00e9lections.<\/p>\n\n\n

Une source r\u00e9v\u00e8le que le pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique a utilis\u00e9 un ton mena\u00e7ant au cas o\u00f9 le Conseil constitutionnel prendrait une d\u00e9cision contraignante. Macky Sall n\u2019\u00e9carte m\u00eame pas l\u2019id\u00e9e de dissoudre le Conseil constitutionnel en ce sens que cela entre dans ses pr\u00e9rogatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
