Une puissante explosion s\u2019est produite peu avant minuit dans la nuit du dimanche 17 au lundi 18 d\u00e9cembre. Un d\u00e9p\u00f4t de carburants \u00e0 Conakry, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant un immense incendie au-dessus du d\u00e9p\u00f4t d\u2019hydrocarbures de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 guin\u00e9enne de p\u00e9trole situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Kaloum, dans le quartier de Coronthie. Aucun bilan n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 communiqu\u00e9 pour l\u2019instant.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019onde de choc a \u00e9t\u00e9 ressentie jusqu\u2019en banlieue de Conakry. Les habitants du quartier de Coronthie, le plus touch\u00e9 par la d\u00e9flagration, d\u00e9crivaient des sc\u00e8nes apocalyptiques, des toits souffl\u00e9s, des maisons qui se seraient effondr\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n

Une immense colonne de flammes et fum\u00e9e s\u2019\u00e9levait du bout de la presqu\u2019\u00eele de Kaloum, dans la capitale guin\u00e9enne, en d\u00e9but de matin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La premi\u00e8re communication officielle des autorit\u00e9s guin\u00e9ennes est intervenue plus de six heures apr\u00e8s l\u2019explosion.<\/p>\n\n\n

Face \u00e0 l\u2019ampleur des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts et les risques, le Gouvernement de la Guin\u00e9e a pris d\u2019importantes mesures, ce lundi matin 18 d\u00e9cembre 2023. En effet, il invite les travailleurs \u00e0 rester \u00e0 la maison. Les \u00e9coles publiques et priv\u00e9es et les stations-services resteront ferm\u00e9es pour ce lundi. Le Gouvernement annonce \u00e9galement l\u2019ouverture d\u2019une enqu\u00eate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
